Actual Production History Actual Production History (APH) is the traditional multi-peril crop insurance.
APH provides protection against the loss of yield due to perils such as drought, flood, hail, frost, and insects. Coverage levels are available in levels from 50-85% in most counties in Minnesota. RMA sets the APH payment prices before sales closing, this year with uncertainty regarding the farm bill preliminary prices have been announced but could be changed. Look for these prices to be base prices, any changes more than likely would be to the upside.
